Frequently asked questions
Will Zinn® SEO slow my site down?
No. That is the whole point. It adds 0 scripts, 0 stylesheets and no plugin comment to your visitors' pages, so your site is as fast with it as without it.
I already use another SEO plugin. Can I try this next to it?
Yes. While your other SEO plugin is switched on, Zinn® SEO stays out of its way so nothing is doubled up. Once you are happy, keep just one.
My site is huge. Will the sitemap cope?
Yes. Your sitemap is prepared in the background and loads instantly. On a test site with a million posts it was ready in 142 seconds using 115.9 MB of memory.
Should I block AI crawlers?
It depends which ones. Block the crawlers that answer questions and you vanish from AI answers that would have linked to you. Block the ones that only train AI models and you lose nothing. Zinn® SEO sets that up in one click.
Is my content sent anywhere?
No. The writing checks in the free plugin all run on your own site. Two optional Pro features reach outside, and only when you use them: one reads competitor pages you name, the other uses the AI service you connect with your own key.
Will it work with my WordPress?
Yes, if you run WordPress 6.4 or newer on PHP 7.4 to 8.5.
Do I need Pro?
Most sites do not. Pro adds unlimited focus phrases, a history of every SEO change, more rich result types, automatic links, a broken link checker, video and news sitemaps and spreadsheet editing, from 49 US$ a year.
What if I stop using it?
Delete the plugin and everything it added is removed. If you would rather keep your SEO details, tick Keep my SEO data if the plugin is deleted under Settings, Data first.
Can I copy my settings to another site?
Yes, for free. Export your settings to one file and import it on another site: titles, structured data, sitemaps, robots rules, sharing, breadcrumbs and which features are on all come over, and the site's own address is put in for you. You see every change before anything is applied, and a file with one value that is not allowed is refused whole. Keys and connections never leave the site.
How is the Pro link plan different from Link Whisper or LinkBoss?
Zinn® SEO Pro plans the links of your whole site from your own sentences: it never rewrites a sentence or adds new ones, puts each change in a revision, and takes a whole run off again in one click. Building the plan runs on your own site and costs nothing; the AI is used, paid per use or with your own AI key, only for important links with no natural words yet. By their own pages on 15 October 2026, Link Whisper Premium links keywords you set and finds orphan pages, and LinkBoss is a paid cloud service that charges for every link it adds that can rephrase sentences or add new ones; neither page describes undoing a run.
Can Zinn® SEO add FAQ structured data to all my posts at once?
Yes, for free. In Structured data, Fill with AI, the AI writes an FAQ, how-to steps, product details or an article summary from each page's own text, for every page that has none, a few pages per request. You see the cost first (measured on our own account: about $0.06 per 100 pages for FAQs), review every one with its check against schema.org and Google's rules, and undo a whole batch in one click. The FAQ shows on the page under its text, as Google requires. Google stopped showing FAQ rich results in May 2026, but Bing and AI assistants still read FAQ structured data. Pages with an FAQ of their own are left alone and cost nothing.
